The Gabriel Diffuser is designed with aesthetics and functionality in mind - allowing the Gabriel to sit perfectly in any home, due to it’s sleek and subtle design. Looking after it after each use will ensure optimal use and health as you switch out your essential oil blends according to your mood.
After use, we recommend refreshing your water and oil mixture. We suggest emptying water no later than 24-48 hours after use. This is to ensure that the stagnant water and oil mixture do not linger in the diffuser, ensuring it remains clean.
Steep the Pump in Warm Water
After the water and oil mixture has been removed from your Gabriel Diffuser, you can steep the plastic pump of the diffuser in warm water, and use a neutralising method dependent on your cleaning needs.
Below we have provided two different neutralising methods to help care for you Gabriel Diffuser.
Option 1: Simply wipe down the excess with a micro fibre cloth or alcohol wipe to clean any residue for your essential oils. This option can be used regularly when changing up oil blends. Alcohol wipe are an easy solution to removing any build up within the transducer.
Option 2: Another option is to use a tbsp of white vinegar in 50ml of warm water. Add this mixture to the diffuser, allowing the Gabriel to run for 5 - 10 minutes. Once the cycle has completed - empty the tank and wipe down with a microfibre cloth to remove any stubborn residue.
At Dandelion & Wishes, we recommend wiping down the excess at every water change and leaving the unit dry and clean when not in use.
For deeper cleans - use the white vinegar option to break down any long term build up.
It really is as simple as that, keeping your diffuser fresh and full of life by regularly changing the water and following the steps above, will maintain the diffuser’s functionality and longevity.
The final step in the diffuser’s care is to add some fresh water and a few drops of your favourite Dandelion & Wishes blend, and to enjoy!
